Apple Fitness+ Time to Walk Series.

I have been a premier tier subscriber of the Apple One subscription bundle, which gives subscribers access to  Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, iCloud,  Apple News+ and Apple Fitness+. Although I am a fitness enthusiast, I have surprisingly not been using the Apple Fitness+ feature of my Apple One subscription until recently. I started listening to the Apple Fitness+ Time to Walk Series, and it is one of the most exciting audio experiences I have had in a while. I could call myself an audiophile as I listen to at least one hour of English and French podcasts daily.

The Apple Fitness+ Time to Walk series was launched in 2021 by Apple as an inspiring audio experience to encourage Apple Watch users to walk more. Each episode features personal stories, photos, and music from influential people to inspire Apple Watch users to reap the benefits of one of the healthiest activities. The first episode I listened to was the session with Actor David Oyelowo, and it was so inspiring, thought-provoking and enlightening. David spoke about the pivotal moment of his life and career, the magic of serendipity and the power of self-believe. After the Oyelowo episode, I was hooked on hearing the stories of other inspiring, influential people. Success, they say, leaves clues, and hearing it from celebrities in a short form is very apt.

According to Apple in their announcement blog of the Time to Walk Series:

Each original Time to Walk episode invites users to immerse themselves in a walk alongside influential and interesting people as they share thoughtful and meaningful stories, photos, and music. Time to Walk can be enjoyed anytime and anywhere with Apple Watch and AirPods or other Bluetooth headphones.

Each Time to Walk episode is shaped by the guest’s personal, life-shaping moments and includes lessons learned, meaningful memories, thoughts on purpose and gratitude, moments of levity, and other thought-provoking topics recorded while walking outside or in locations that are meaningful to them. The narrative comes to life through photos on Apple Watch, perfectly timed to amplify a corresponding moment the guest shares. Following the guest’s stories, the experience extends with introducing a short playlist of songs that has given them motivation and inspiration, so the listener can continue their walk to a soundtrack intimately connected to each guest.

The first four episodes of the Apple Time to Walk Series on its launching :

  • Country music star Dolly Parton
  • NBA player Draymond Green
  • Musician Shawn Mendes
  • Emmy Award winner Uzo Aduba

That I love the Apple Fitness+ A Time to Walk series is an understatement; I am obsessed with the experience. Most episodes are between 25-30 minutes, usually the length of most walks. I am always looking forward to hearing about people’s backstory, how they got their break, the power of randomness, luck and the divine power in their breakthrough. I would highly recommend the Time to Walk series from Apple Fitness+.

All the best in your quest to get better. Don’t Settle: Live with Passion.
